EDIT: it has come to my attention that some people actually think this is a real post. It’s an April Fool, dudes. Please enjoy it even more by following the links. Only one of them makes any noise, and it’s labelled on the mouse-over. Sorry for any confusion, but hey. I do links to take these posts to a deeper level, and if you don’t ever follow them, it’s not my fault if there’s some miscommunication! Besides, the post is clearly tagged “aprilfool”… so I guess I gotcha! Ha!! 😛
We’ve been looking around at potential areas for our expected relocation in 18 months, and we think that this building in northwest Oklahoma City might just fit our needs.
As you can see, it’s a rather sizeable structure. So, in order to maximize the space, I’ve been consulting with a few possible partners, some compatible other businesses that might go in here with me.
What we’re thinking is to put a luxury spa in part of the building. Separate facilities for men, women, and children, so that Mom or Dad can drop off the kids and everyone can enjoy a mani-pedi, massage, or facial and some quality pampering. In the case of babies, actual Pampering, if the need arises. We’ve also discussed some “couples only” evenings, and special classes for teens to learn proper skin care and destressing techniques.
We’re also looking at a night club on the top floor, maybe a retro “54” style, which we think will do very well in this part of the city. During the day you can pop in for espresso and smoothies in the juice bar after your workout in the health club on the second floor.
Of course Once Upon A Silver Moon will still have its retail store on the ground floor. We’re looking into carrying a lot more books, especially Bibles. Our new location might also do well with some music, so I’ve contacted Sparrow and Reunion for some demos to play in the store until we can get maybe some Sandi Patti or Michael W. Smith on the shelves.
The rest of the space will be available for rent to individuals or small businesses.
Looking forward to our expansion, and our new business relationship with our new partners: James Daniels, Capt. Henry Morgan, James Beam, and Rev. “Cutty” Sark.
